Why K2 CIA Kids?
Our
kids today spend a lot of quality time sitting, playing
video games, playing with personal hand-held "devices,"
eating what is fast, easy and definitely not so nutritious.
We at K2 CIA Kids
want kids to have FUN
First and Foremost! They are KIDS, and that is what they
should be doing... Having FUN!
Secondly, we are helping to prevent and/or
reduce the Childhood Obesity Epidemic.
By getting our kids started early being active and learning
how to be and stay fit and healthy, they begin a life-long
love of fitness, sports and recreation. You don't have
to be an athlete to participate, but they very likely
will be when they are done.
Third,
Staying active and FIT is
a natural release for a child and studies prove, being
active can reduce ADD and ADHD.
It teaches motor skills and
coordination and actually stimulates
parts of the brain at a very early age that help a childs
learning and growth patterns get esatblished.
By learning fitness and coordination and proper fitness
education as early as age 3 and 4, a child's brain is
developing exponentially daily! This is the BEST
time to get your child involved in fitness and athletics!
Our program will teach
your child all the necessary Skills with a FOCUS
on how it can apply to sport. Thus DEVELOPING
your child to ENJOY FITNESS and
potentially creating an ATHLETE
out of them. Life is a SPORT TOO, and requires many of
the skills developed in our program to be strong, confident
and competitive!
Our
Commitment to providing you and your child with a winning
and lasting experience is Goal ONE!
Kids
will participate for 1 houreach
Saturday between the times of 9:30 and 1:30 based
on age category (this will be determined after all registrations
are in).
Our
kids fitness program is designed to lay CORE Foundations
for development of Strength
and Conditioning to enhance coordination,
balance, strength, stamina, health, and proper Nutrition.
Each
week all of our coaches will be given new Training
and Lesson Skills Plans on how to run the
kids through drills designed by our professional staff of
Certified Trainers/Instructors.
Our
staff comes from the fields of Exercise Science,
Certified Professional Trainers, Gym Owners,
Crossfit Certified Adult and
Kids Fitness Training, and Highly
Educated Backgrounds in Professional Fitness, Sports
Education, Business, Motivation and SUCCESS.
We
appreciate parents that would like to volunteer and mentor
as a Coach.
All
kids will get a CORE Value
Award at the end of each Season. Something
special to remember their experience and remind them of
Core Values learned .
Each
child will receive a T-shirt
to wear each weekend.
We
want each child to learn why Teamwork,
Leadership, Responsibility,
Fitness, Exercise and Nutrition
are Keys to SUCCESS, and
the CONFIDENCE that comes with that.
Each weekend with our lesson plans we will emphasize a
"Value Lesson".
Core
Values are the basis of a solid foundation,
that which we firmly stand by. Values
breed Integrity and so does K2 CIA Kids Fitness and it's
Staff.
